  1. Mosquitoes pose a threat to public health, spreading everything from West Nile virus, encephalitis, dengue fever, malaria, and even heartworms in pets.
  2. Mosquitoes breed in standing water, so eliminating standing water on your property reduces your risk. Citronella candles and smoking coils repel mosquitoes, but you have to stay in the smoky plume to be protected. Mosquitoes rarely travel farther than 300 feet from their birthplace and can smell your scent from 100 feet away.
  3. There are two primary methods of Mosquito Control: Barrier Spray Control and Automatic Misting Systems. A Barrier Spray Program typically ensures that your family can enjoy a mosquito-free outdoor environment for about 20-22 days per Spray Treatment Cycle. So, by having your yard sprayed every three weeks over a typical five month period, this is one way to control mosquito infestations.
  4. Typical Automatic Misting Systems incorporate a series of stainless steel nozzles installed around the perimeter of the area to be protected. Effective Misting Systems apply ultra-low concentration of safe solution insecticide into the air two to three times a day. Misting Systems are the more permanent long term solution to kill and repel mosquitoes.
