(2) If you plan on storing toys for children in a closet space, you may want to design something for the children that is easier to reach (shelving).
(3) Be sure to plan in plenty of space for the future expansion of your clothing wardrobe and shoes. The last thing you want to do is plan for what you currently have and not have enough space for the future additions to your wardrobe or belongings.

It is important to balance the amount of folded clothes in your new closet design as compared to what will be hung.
(5) How many people will be storing things in a given closet space? One person or two? Your design should match the wants and needs of those persons involved in the space allocated for the design-build plan.
