You should contact a few of those references and ask the people how their experience was with that pool company. How did they feel during and after the sale and building process.
(2) Make sure you get all warranty information on your new pool in writing. You may need it later.
(3) Ask your pool builder for their license information. Ask to see a copy of it to make sure they are properly licensed.
(4) Make sure your pool builder is properly insured and ask to see a copy of their insurance.
(5) Check with your local Better Business Bureau and make sure your pool builder has a good record.
(6) Ask for a release of lien when all the work is complete on your pool.
(7) Communicate often with your pool builder during your project. If you have any questions or concerns communicate them. It is better to handle issues while materials, tools and labor are readily available and it could give you the end result you desire with less cost involved.
