“Midway was founded in 1957 by my Mom and Dad. During a visit with my parents on a Sunday afternoon in the winter of 1985, our lives changed. We spoke of Dad’s retirement and made plans of how the legacy of Midway would move forward. A few months later Gail and I purchased Midway, fulfilling my parent’s dream of retirement in Florida, and starting a new chapter in our lives – little did we know that our work had just begun.
What started out as a plumbing company nearly 30 years earlier, soon grew to include electrical and air conditioning repairs and installations. As our reputation for service “Above and Beyond” spread and customer’s requested more home services, we added kitchen and bath remodeling – a big part of our business today.
We currently employ over 250 associates and are still owned and operated by our family for over 60 years now.”

“Last week I had some old kitchen lighting removed and brand new lighting installed. When the electrician, Jeremy, came out initially to give me a quote, I was unsure as to what exactly I wanted to do lighting-wise. I knew I wanted can lights, but how many and what would the placement be? Jeremy was so patient and gave me ideas and suggestions. He wrote up estimates giving me 6 options to choose from based on what we discussed. When I finally decided on an option, I scheduled the work and it was able to be done right away. Jeremy was absolutely on time for both the estimate and the scheduled work. He put sheets all over the kitchen to make sure nothing got dirty. He did the work quickly and thoroughly and cleaned up afterwards so well that I wouldn’t have even known any work had been done. I absolutely love my new kitchen lighting and would recommend Midway to anyone!”
